Lord & Lady Elgin Matched Pair – Clubman & Clubwoman

Matched pair of Lord & Lady Elgin watches, complete with matching bands and the original watch boxes.

A really wonderful matched pair of Lord & Lady Elgin watches. These two watches were models issued by Elgin at the same time and were intended to be complementary: The Lord Elgin Clubman and the Lady Elgin Clubwoman (see the advertisement in the photo gallery).

Both of these watches show excellent Elgin quality, with 14K yellow gold filled cases — both bezel and back — and high quality 21 jewel movements. These watches had textured dials and enameled bezels, making them very visually distinctive. These watches date to 1952. Both watches are all original (excepting the bands) and are in Excellent condition.

The Clubman is a Lord Elgin Model 4811, with a 21 jewel 556 movement. There is some spotting on the dial, but it is minor. This watch is running strong and keeping good time.

The Clubwoman is a Lady Elgin Model 4330, with the 21 jewel 655 movement. This watch has engraving on the back of the case. This watch is running strong and keeping good time.

We’ve added to this watch pair new leather watch bands and a pair of original lucite Lord and Lady Elgin watch boxes — both in Very Good condition.

A great pair of Elgin classics!

Note that these watches have not been serviced while in our possession and we do not know the service history of this piece. While it is running well and keeping good time now we do advise all vintage watch owners to have their watches regularly serviced to assure the longest enjoyment.
