Rare early Omega wristwatch in exceptional condition.
A beautiful and rare vintage Omega, dating to 1913-1914.
The watch has an Omega signed case. The case is made of steel and includes a dust cover for the movement. The case serial number dates this watch to 1913-1918. The case is in Very Good condition with only minor signs of wear. The case back is without engraving or exterior markings.
The porcelain dial is without chips or cracks. It includes 24 hour markings. The dial is all original, with the old hand-painted lume still visible in places. The hands are original, with the hour hand having a small defect at the tip. We’ve left the dial and hands untouched to allow collectors the chance to obtain this piece in its original “as-found” cosmetic condition. All things considered, the watch is in amazing condition given it’s age.
The movement is an Omega 15 jewel. The movement calibre is unknown. The watch winds, sets and runs properly. The movement serial number dates the movement to 1910-1914.
The watch is 33mm in diameter, not including the crown or the lugs.
We’ve included with this watch a brand new leather watch band that compliments the watch nicely. This is a high quality band and will serve you very well. The watch is ready to wear.
This watch was serviced (cleaned, oiled & adjusted) in August, 2015, and it runs well and keeps good time.
